Motor and VIN Don't Match
Motor and VIN Don't Match
Hi everyone just wondering if someone can give me some advice on matching VIN numbers VS non matching. Everything being equal how much less would non matching be worth? Thanks

Re: Motor and VIN Don't Match
No Spiders have matching numbers.
Re: Motor and VIN Don't Match
But the series being a match AS AC or BS BC, for example, is significant for originality and value.

Re: Motor and VIN Don't Match
my somewhere in late 1979-early 1980 car has an ID tag with the VIN, and some parts catalogue number only, the engine no. section of the tag is blank and I have noticed this on all the cars in the 1980 range.
What worse is that with out the US compliance plate in the door jam, the actual age of the car us unknown.....
On earlier cars I think they have put the engine numbers on the ID tags????
