Yeah, drivers side mirror is off...and since that picture was taken yesterday, so is the passenger side. Need to figure something out, as the plastic on the mirrors is shot.

Overall, she's in real good shape...but there's a lot of detail work that I am going to do...aside from the mirrors, a wax job is needed, clean up under the hood, fix the gangsta lean on drivers seat, etc. Debating about the bumpers...part of me really wants to see them go, but not 100% sure yet...

She's a damn sexy old girl if you ask me....

Yo Fiatlanta,
Very nice looking Spider!
About your bumpers. On my '81, I drilled the hydrolics, releasing the gas/oil and pushed them in, within a 1/4" of the body. Then, using the hole on the outside sleeve as a 'pilot', I drilled into the inner sleeve and screwed them together. Simple, and I think makes a big appearance improvement.

Great looking car and in the fast color to boot! But, I may be prejudiced as mine is exactly the same. :D Hardly a day that we have it out and don't get a compliment about it.

Welcome aboard (a board?). Looks great, mine is a red and tan 78 with a 79 engine. I'm about 150 miles away just over the border into South Carolina so if you ever need help or just want to meet sometime just holler.

I might just do that...wouldn't mind grabbing the girlfriend and doing a little road trip with the top down!

And thanks for the link about the seats...will definitely need to do something sooner rather than later with that.

And for fun, an album of under the hood pics
