After moving to the "new" place on Madison's west side in May, Patty and I were cruising the new 'hood learning the streets and finding our way around. Coming up on the Madison/Middleton boundary line, I spotted the rear of a brown, late 80's tube bumper Spider in a garage off a short court. Hey, this neighborhood just got nicer! If the owner is on the forum, shoot me a PM; I'm just a little south of you on Sauk Ridge Trail.
Buncha nice cars hanging around here: couple Porsches and a bright yellow Elise, among others. Still unpacking and fixing house, but the new garage has a nice long stall, perfect for car wrenching and occasional sawdust production. Once all the tools are unpacked and sorted......

Re: West side of Madison???
As I recall Peter Egan, former R & T editor and all around car guy journalist hails from around your neck of the woods. North of Madison I think. Every run into him?
He's retired now. You should see if you can look him up. Know who I'm talking about?

Peter Egan's Tool Definitions
This has been posted here before and probably on every other car related forum on the internet. But just in case there's some poor soul who hasn't seen it here it is once again.

Re: West side of Madison???
Peter Egan was the single reason I began to regularly read R & T, after Car &Drivers's clowns went full Tea Party, and Automobile stopped "testing" (tho I did enjoy their staff's writing). Tried not to miss a column of his until his retirement, and he's on a very short list of writers I'd like to meet.
He actually lives south and east of Madison, in rural Rock County (about 20 miles from me). One of these days I'll run into him, probably at one of the local car shows. Looking forward to it.....
