Oil Pan Wrench Size?!!!
Tried to change my oil last night, had my metric allen keys out and found my 10mm wasn't NEARLY large enough. Looking around here and online many say it's a 12mm, but I'm telling you that'll be way too small as well. Were there different plugs used? It's definitely an allen bolt, but huge. Anyone know what i need? I've got a 1980 Spider 2000...perhaps the PO or shop swapped it out? Thanks!

Is 12mm 2x the size of a 10mm? I'm telling you, my 10mm wasn't even remotely close. I don't believe 12mm will be close either.So Cal Mark wrote:12mm

My original was a 13mm with vice grip marks and stripped threads. Argh! I remember because no local hardware or tool store had anything more than 10mm or maybe 12mm. Bought it on Ebay probably from China.
Ack! Home now and double checked. It was in fact a 12mm - and gouged and stripped. Sorry!
