Hooking Up Timing Light
1981.2000. Where do you hook up the leads that power a timing light in the engine compartment? Since the battery in mine is located in the trunk I can't reach it. Do you clamp on to the power going to the starting motor?

i use a small 12 volt hobby battery......like for a scooter or such.... that way the wires don't have a chance of tangling up in rotating machinery.....
