1981.2000. What is the easiest way to tighten the cables that run down the sides of the top? How tight should they be? RB

i changed my top and with the rear pannel off i put the wire under the clamp
then grabed the wire with vicegrips and pulled on it then while pulling tighten the screws
for the clamp.with the top up
when you do everything correct people arent sure youve done anything at all (futurama)

Reasonably snug. Be mindful that the front is held by a small 1/8 inch rivet with a shoulder on it set in the sheet metal of the front bow and not one of the mooring posts from a super tanker.
