Is anyone in the SoCal / Upland area available to check out a non-op/not-running pre-'74 Spider and give me an honest assessment of the car before May 6, 2016? If so, let me know what kind of compensation you would need. Respond via PM or email through the forum.

Thanks for considering it Mark, I appreciate it! Yes - it's a non-runner and you are right - it will be difficult to assess. I assumed an engine rebuild as it had not run since it was parked 10 years ago and it is reported to have over 100K on it. BUT now... My last conversation with the seller left me feeling like the prospect is a no-go. He comes up with way too many excuses, can't provide recent pictures, has to travel to another city, the tires are flat, etc. The whole things has turned into a PITA and I've decided to pass on it. I will wait until something more feasible comes along.
