Is there another way of opening the trunk if the key latch is jamed?

make an x between the 4 license plate bolt holes, then measure up 1 inch, drill a hole there and you can use a screwdriver to trip the lock

Copied from a post some while ago. I suppose you have pushed down on the lid while trying to turn the key....

A hole just large enough to get a small screwdriver or awl in there to be able to move the latch left or right.

If the lock has to be replaced, you may try inserting a screwdriver in the key hole and try to force it open by brute force twisting - this will destroy the lock though.

I managed to get it open by pushing down on the back of the trunk and wiggling the key. I obviously had too much in there when I closed it. Golf clubs

Thanks everyone,

if anyone does drill a hole there they can plug the hole with RTV silicone
