Stock size is 195/50 R15 and I've narrowed it down to the BFGoodrich G-Force Sport Comp-2, or the Toyo EXTENSA HP.
Can anybody offer any comments on either of these?

Hi Jim , I purchased the Toyo Extensa A/S 195/60R14 . They have a better rating compared to the BF Goodrich G-Force.

I have two summers on a set of the Toyos - 185/65 x 13 - and I'm very pleased with them.

Re: Anybody tried these tires?
I have Toyo extenzas on my car, and after 5 years I find them to be slippery in most conditions. I'm actually looking for replacement now.
I'm hard on tires so take with a grain of salt.
The first couple years I never thought anything of them, which tells me that they must have been doing their job.
Now I worry a little bit about traction in the cold/wet. Not because I'm paranoid but because we've unintentionally slid a few times.
I know they are summer tires, so cold weather isn't ideal anyway but regardless they seem to have less traction now than they did a couple years ago.

This is my 2nd season with the BFGoodrich G-Force Sport Comp-2 on our '79 Spider. I like the feel & cornering of them. Highly recommended!
