Windshield Washer

Finally got around to installing an ACI Model 99300 Universal Windshield Washer Pump Kit with Reservoir today and am pretty happy to have them operational. I had been sitting on it for some time not having a good feel for where I wanted to install the tank and just bit the bullet and put it between the remote oil filter and diesel fuel filter on the right front.



Really liked how it was a plug and play fit to the factory washer plug already under the hood requiring no modification. Only needed the white union and about a foot of tubing from the kit to install it.

The OEM nozzles that were still on the car were a pleasant surprise being adjustable up/down and left/right along with the shocker that the washer switch circuit was in operating condition and didn't require any remediation.

It warmed up the past week with plenty of rain so the pollen is a starting to blow.

I am going to remove my original washer bottle (from a 2000 FI car) to under the windsheild similar to the later pininfarina model.

Considering the cost of a new pininfarina bottle and our Aussie exchange rate I had to come up with a more economical solution.

I will be using a rectangle shaped bottle from one of our old locally produced Holden cars that is a sung fit under the cowl. I will however have to drill a hole for the filler.

Only wish we had the abundant of choice you guys have where I could buy all the parts complete including the cowl .....
