Intake manifold question.

Post by RoyBatty »

Hi again,
The intake manifold forthe dual idf40's just got here.
It is different in appearance from any I've seen as of yet.
The only marking I can find on it is on the bottom side between the two carbs. It says "vaccari".
Anyone know the history of this name?

From what I can gather, vaccari was a shop that opened up in 1948 and built cars for competition I'm guessing somewhat similar to abarth. They are still around and still build cars for endurance competitions and such.
