Just posting to say hello from Fort Worth, Texas.
I am delighted to announce that I was able to purchase a 1975 Fiat 124 Spider 1800 project car from a gentleman here in the DFW area. The car had been sitting, covered, for about 8 years until I stumbled upon it on craigslist. I was told that the car was running fine when parked by their son before he joined the military.
Here it is:

While there is a small hole in the floor pan near the pedals, the rest of the body is virtually rust free! I have ordered a replacement top (goats apparently stood on and ripped the old one?), and will begin working on the rest of the car this weekend.
I will create a restoration page as soon as I start work on this beaut this weekend. Should be a fun car!
