Hello to all. I just picked up a 1982 Spider and I'm excited to be joining this community of wrench-turners. This is my first foray into Italian motoring, having been a VW guy up until now.

New home in the garage.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Lurking on this site is what convinced me to buy the spider.

The color reminds me a bit of the "bronze flake" of a Datsun Z, and feels decidedly retro.

Thanks to 124Joe and RRoller123 for the info on posting pictures correctly.

ford has a darker color called "sunset"

Welcome to the Fiat family from Winston Salem. There are three of us here. One in Salisbury and a few in Charlotte. I think there is another family member near Durham. Can't remember his forum name. We have Cars and Coffee here every 3rd Saturday starting in April bunch of nice cars not all Fiat. There is a huge Cars and Coffee in Greensboro sometimes as many as 300 cars it is every 2nd Saturday think it starts in March.

I found the guy near you his name is Carl forum name "carlman" lives in Chapel Hill.
