Looking for an opinion:
I am going to be running a 1.8 style head on my 2.0 stock block and will get a bit over 9:1 compression. (don't ask how, long story, just accept it).
The head will be ported a bit and generally cleaned up professionally.
I have two questions: which cams should I use,
and two
Would the engine benefit from larger valves with new cams?
Carb will be a 34ADF on a single plane manifold. Exhaust: 4-2-1 manifold, 2" pipe with no cat and a free flow muffler.

Re: Head work
with the CR get some mild performance cams. Really hot cams need more compression.
If the head is ported then you can benefit from larger valves.
