Dual DFEVs?
I've seen the dual DCNF and such... has any put on dual DFEVs or anything like that?
Re: Dual DFEVs?
DFEV carbs are progressive which means if you have a dual carb setup two of the cylinders will not get any intake charge until the throttle is opened up more than halfway. Worse yet, the bores are different size for primary and secondary so two cylinders would get a different flow than the other two. DCNFs are synchronous and both bores are the same size.
Re: Dual DFEVs?
you'd want to use dual 38 dges carbs, they're synchronous and the same size bores. Synchronizing linkage will be the tricky part

Thanks SoCal... I knew weber had some synchronous versions- just couldn't remember the type.
The bigger question - what manifold is used? Mark, I know you make one for ICH or something like that.. just curious

Thanks FiatFactory - really its just a curiosity thing. Not planning to do or try it. When you have a pile parts and carbs laying around .... the mind starts to wander. The 32/36 is a pretty kick ass little unit and when you've played with V8s and dual quad setups....

if you wanted to use dfev, you'd have to design a manifold with a plenum
