I've noticed a lot of people are very creative Mark, and never fully put it together. Which kinda saddens me when I like to see originality and personality in each other's cars :/

Yep. What seems like a simple idea quickly turns into an engineering nightmare that most people don't have the skills, knowledge or money to complete.

Of the two 74 x,s that we started preparing for honda swaps, one was recently sold locally to someone with the money to fast track it. Expect to see it at BFI this November. I still have the other 74. I sold the type R driveline and picked up a single cam 1500 that was turboed. The car is on the back burner while I get my spider back on the road. I have not given up on it, just haven't had the time or money to move it along.

If it were me and I was going to remove the Lampredi twin (which was a pioneers to a lot of current 4cyl engine including Jap units) I'd go with an Alfa Busso V6, another glorious motor (and somewhat keeping it in the family), I got sucked into purchasing an old 1983 Alfetta 2.5 GTV6 and man that is a sweet motor...the addiction is instant

The only problem with the alfa v6 is that you need to cut the car up alot to get it in. Had a milano verde 3 liter, awesome car.

the Milano was called a 75 in our neck of the woods and yes they are great cars, I imagine putting anything else in a fiat engine bay will require some serious work that is why if it were me I'd go down that path...but knowing myself and knowing how little time and spare cash I have, I'd leave it fairly stock to have a complete working car so I can drive it.

Or.... I have considering putting a high boost turbo on and replacing gearbox/diff etc as they need..
