Never been to Texas but partied hard with some great Texans when I was on course at the Peacefull Valley ranch in Colorado.
Remember one night, we were all pretty pissed (we blamed the altitude), and a sweet Texan lady turned to me and my Canuck friends and said with a half drunken drawl "Ya'll talk funny"
To which we replied "Eh?"
Classic.

Had a pleasant surprise upon my arrival tonight, there sitting beside my friend Dan was AriK who had driven all the way from Montreal (2 hrs away). It was a nice turnout of Fiat/Alpha Romeo and Citroen owners AriK it was great to meet you in person and we all owe you a beer at Montabello on 28thSep2014

Not a bad turnout for a Tuesday evening, the weather was great and the beer was cold
It was great that AriK made it from Montreal Nice guy and a beautiful car.
Nice seeing a few Citroens up close, had a a few good chats with their owners.

My route back home, Hwy 417 "The Black Hole of Gloom"
I never realized how creepy this highway is until i drove it at night. No street lights, no buildings, no rest stops, few exits/gas stations. I wondered where the lightning strikes were coming from, the sky was crystal clear. What a city boy i am!

Kept her pegged at 100km/hr till 10:45. What a great ride! She enjoyed it too
I didn't wake up in the morning with this on the program. The best of times happen upon spur of the moment decisions. Thanks guys!

The stars must have been amazing last night out in the middle of nowhere.

I guess me and some of "da boys" will be in Montreal next year.
