me too, my son decided to buy a daily driver so his bank account is now depleted of "Fiat" funds...this is what he bought

Image

seriously, I am glad he got the car, as he deserves it and takes the pressure off of the spider build...added benefit, he will leave it behind (when he returns to college) for his sister to drive to high school...a 80 mile round trip, it will be nice to not have to drive the girls to school next year

 Ok...I did not go "bumperless" as this is illegal in Washingington State....I did go with the old fashioned bumpers here is the front...

TImage

Yes, they are still illegal as they don't provide for the FMVSS ( Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard) but they look great!!!!

I will post puctures of the rear after the body work...here is a teaser...

I've only issued it a couple of times, but all cars that originally came with "5mph" bumpers are required to have them. But you are correct that you will rarely get ticketed and those that do usually talked themselves into it.

Three pictures of how my 1800 progressed.

First up, no bumper, with turn signals / running lights integrated into the headlamp

Image

Second up, with VW Golf Mk3 turn signals / running lights put into the "square" hole

Image

Third up, with Porsche bumperettes fitted to the front bumper shocks

Image

Best

I like the hood and the front air dam but the rest of the car looks like a drag queen at a gay pride parade.
