What is is? Where does it go

Is this a shoulder belt or lap belt? The picture makes it difficult to tell. If it's a lap belt, the black seat belt loop with the white plastic bushing mounts to the inside edge of the side tunnel with a large shoulder bolt.

Looks like someone installed belts meant to be mounted on the B-pillar of a non-convertible and this is the part that would mount there.

Shoulder belt, I got them from sound one and installed,
So they are not the right ones?

They are the right ones if the length is correct. They must have installed a generic set of aftermarket seatbelts.

Vandor is right. Those brackets would be attached to the B-pillar if it was in another car. I'd just leave them as long as they don't get in your way. You could carefully make a slot to slide them off with a dremel, but one nick in the belt would mean replacing it again.

It'll works fine, no problems with them, I don't wear seat belts anyway

Jim, you can make a bracket mounted on the b-pillar to carry that shoulder strap bracket like we talked about ages ago.

Jim, If I were your mother, I'd give you a few swipes with the spoon.....
As a POC fire fighter for 19 years, plenty of MVA's were from the other guy crossing the center line.
I know our Fiats don't offer much if any protection but the newer cars do when one is strapped in :D
