As some of you may or may not know this happened http://forum.fiatspider.com/f08/viewtop ... 15&t=25124

Thinking this was resolved I went out for a nice drive on a beautiful day, only to have this fall off and roll under the car beside me at the red light. WTF!

Upon closer inspection neither ring or light is installed on both sides, they just seem to be sitting there  :? :? :x

Looking at your pics on the other thread, she does look great.
So I wouldn't say you got screwed, neither did your lights.

Normally, I would love a rushed screw however, not in this context.

I will look online or people can chime in on how to properly secure/install the headlights etc.

Going to call the garage regardless to express my concern and dissatisfaction

 Um... yeah.

If it were me I'd be going over the entire car to make sure EVERYTHING that they "touched" is actually bolted down, screwed on, snapped in place, etc. I'd also let the insurance company know what the shop failed to do.

Make sure those lug nuts are tight! :D

Here are some pictures. Looks like you are missing the rubber trim (AR has them). The chrome light ring is held in place with a single screw , the hole in the bottom of the picture:

Thanks Wizard124 I have all the pics/diagrams with some parts on the way (see above). I also do not have the clips (rusted tabs in your pics) and I have no idea if I had them prior. I want to say yes as I have never had my lights fall off etc

If anyone has the tabs and screws/bolts for both sides please let me know. I want this done correctly.

Maybe the tabs are PO thing? My lights are going back on today, with new rings. I'll find out whether or not I need those tabs...

It's been a while since I took the headlights apart, and my memory is horrible. However I have the tabs on my 74 and had them on my 81. I think (but could definitely be wrong) that they help hold the plastic ring in place.

Found them at Autoricambi. They are called "headlight trim ring hook."
