I drove the spider to work along with a couple of brackets for making a wind screen. There was a sheet metal shop in the area where i could get a couple of bends in the brackets. The shop was closed so wandered down the street looking for a likely candidate for a small press brake. Spotted Jim Nasi custom motorcycles and pulled up to give them a try. They were a somewhat reluctant lot, but one of the young guys decided to come out to the car to see what i had. As soon as he spotted the car through the window, he yelled OH, SICK! which brought the other guys from the shop outside. Very unanticipated response and praise from a bunch of motorcycle freaks who knew nothing about Fiats. Asked me to pop the hood and thought it was very cool it was hinged from the front. Very fun! BTW, they did have the brake and folded my parts at no charge.
