Hi All, seen a few roll bar threads lately and thought I'd post my own. I was impressed with the Boxter bar, I didn't think it would fit in. I have had mine custom made and suited to some of our standards down under. It has been designed so I can still use the soft top.

Looks super stout with that crossbrace!
I custom made one for my previous Spider ~15 years ago and I made it as tall as possibly while still fitting under the top.
The top mechanism scraped it as it went up or down! Car actually looked a bit funny with such a high rollbar.

My top (or car) must be a little out of wack as part of the mechanism on one side touches a little....something I need to look into, overall I am really happy with the result and slightly more comfortable when I next track the car.vandor wrote:Looks super stout with that crossbrace!
