I'm Mississippi joe with a fiat spider 2000

Bought it new in 1981. 70,000 mi. Ext. Looks very good. Dashboard and console have cracks. Smokes on starting if it hasn't been driven for a few days. I drove a mx5 and lost my head and bought one. Now what am I to do. Help!

Limber up your checkbook and credit cards. Also a good idea before hand to learn a few Italian swear words. But do enjoy yourself. I've loved resto/moding my 1975. This forum is an excellent resource for technical help. Post some pictures of your car when you can. We love seeing pictures.
