Dave T. is right about Franks Auto Top in Cranston. he did a motorcycle seat for me that came back in a timely manner looking as if i had shipped it to the manufacturer for the recover. old world Craftsman pride and value at that shop! i lived in north Providence at the time. still miss it!

Well no joy in Mudville. I went to pick up the seats Wednesday after calling to confirm how late the shop would be open. Got there 15 min before closing time. Shop is locked. Wasted another trip and hour of my time. Went back Friday after work, front of the bottom cushions a little better, but he fixed nothing else. Says the seats are crooked, when clearly the dimensions are not the same side to side on the same seat nor are they the same between the two seats. more excuses, says he is done working on them, cant do anything else. i guess its just well beyond his skill level or something. I just had to walk away I was so angry. My wife and son will go and pick them up so I can take them somewhere else to have them fixed, redone, whatever. It would probably cost me more than the seats are worth to sue the guy, but I'm so pissed I'm considering it....... Gotta cool off and work on something else.

Man that really is awful. Sorry about it. Try Mark and he will make it straight. They welded the broken interior pieces on mine and repaired the back support adjustment too. He is really good.

So sorry to hear about your saga. In the end you will have an even BETTER Spider than before and the great time you have driving it will make this crap fade away.

Best of luck, hopefully someone will make quick work of cleaning up his mess. I wouldnt take the time or money to sue him, with word of mouth he will eventually go out of business. Suing him will prolong your pain too.

Did you get them seats fixed

Nope, sorry to say. I will have to have them fixed elsewhere. Considering small claims court, but you often have to collect your own money after the judgement. May not be worth the effort. I did speak with Mark at Marks upholstery in Attleboro, Ma (Thanks Pete for the reference) and he is too busy until after October. For now I am driving the car until it gets too cool and wet to want to do so. She passed inspection with flying colors yesterday
