Wow, I have to say that is one beautiful motor. That's how it should be done! I'm taking notes from you. Where did you get your headers? They look sweet. I have a 1974 spider, it will be Maserati Red.I promise I won't copy your motor, but it'll be close. LOL. Great job.

Some of these look like you could eat off of them. Very nice! I'm in the process of degreasing my engine bay. Any suggestions as what I should use?

Dave,I used brush on rust-o-leum on block and powder coated the other parts

I really like the red Fiat on the intake side. What the process for painting this on and what type of paint? I'm in the process of cleaning my aluminum components so might be a good time to add this red.

This is my '69 Spider engine bay, 'as-bought'.



I took this picture when I got my engine bay lights working! '72 & later Spiders - eat your hearts out!

Late model Spider owners will notice two big differences:
1. Exhaust cam tower where the heater hose comes over is a LOT less crowded!
2. The radiator cross member is straight as an arrow!
