Hello
I'd like to remove the cylinder head without removing the valve cover....I can see the 10 bolts holding the head to the block and of course the timing belt etc...Is there any other "hidden" bolts to worry about when pulling the head as one piece or goes the valve cover needs to come off first?? Anything else major??
Regards folks

just the 10 head bolts, the cam covers can stay on and will make the job less messy that way. Just disconect fuel lines, wiring, timing belt and the exhaust pipe and of course water hoses

Don't lose the two gasket locating pins when removing the head, and in particular, don't lose them down an oil or coolant passage!
