Kinda like...
"This isn't the post you're looking for"
59 views and counting and nobody has anything to say?
Please tell me,
Is it that everyone is hung up on the tata reference and doesn't accept any other references?
Or, is my sence of humor just off?
I'm starting my resto-mod and might just cut a bump out of my hood for the hell of it!!

Since the man popped too many steriods...
And lied about it, I think he deserves a good joke!
Doesn't have a thing to do with breast cancer but I'm sorry if I offended.

Re: Thinking about a single bump hood
haha i had a mate who posted a sign in the local library saying all lance armstrong books where being moved to the fiction section. i think the problem with your joke was the use of the livestrong foundation instead of a direct joke at lance's expense. lance might be a liar but a charity is still a charity.
on the actual issue i dont think it would look good missing a hump. unless you intend to replace it with something interesting ie make one central hum like a jag e type or a scoop. or in my wildest childlike james bond fantasies, a forward mounted minigun haahaha

Re: Thinking about a single bump hood
I think putting LIVE STRONG on anything these days might have mixed reactions (Lance Armstrong is a lying, cheating douchebag) however, his charity has done great work.

I agree wholeheartedly with Jay's discription and the truth about the charity. Again I certainly didn't want to upset anyone. Just a joke and if anyone reads it who has never once told a prejudice or off color joke in their lives, I feel for you!

Re: Thinking about a single bump hood
IIRC Spiderrey made a single bump hood by grafting a mitsubishi eclipse hood bump onto an early flat hood.
Re: Thinking about a single bump hood
I think Lance actually lost both bumps so it should be a flat hood look that you're going for.
I know it's politically incorrect and all that but shouldn't we still be able to have a laugh at someone else's expense? As long as we can still laugh at ourselves, everything should be ok. If anyone has not been to a comedy club/act don't be surprised at the inappropriate comments that will be made about anyone in the public eye.
As Bill Murray said in Stripes... "lighten up Francis".

I suspect most people who participate in this Forum have been affected by the loss of a friend or family member to cancer. If you, Martin, or SoFlaFiat haven't , you are very fortunate indeed. I have lost one parent and both in-laws to the disease. If you think having a "laugh" at a cancer survivor's expense is acceptable, I suggest you're missing something somewhere.
And like my suggestion above, I'd strongly suggest you too quit while you're behind.

Re: Thinking about a single bump hood
I have lost family members to cancer and I have friends who have survived their cancer. Nobody is making jokes at the expense of anyone's friends or family members.
Don't tell me I'm missing the point when, clearly, you are.
