Re: Special TC Engine
You can source the stock electronic distributor cheap and I wouldn't run anything less. I have a setup if you need. It needs the dist rebuilt and I would get a new module to be safe. Either way if it cost you $200.00 for a rebuilt dist and MSD coil with new module it will be one of the best money you could do.
I may have missed it but what was used for the attaching points of the front and back for the top cover?

I was thinking about getting Petronix kit - http://www.ebay.com/itm/330616388276?ss ... 1423.l2649 but had not decided yet.
And for the top cover I fabricated a bracket on the back , it is attached to the head bolt and the front mounts to the thermostat housing.

Re: Special TC Engine
Ive ran all types and they all work great. The nice thing about the Fiat electronic is that it takes a standard GM $25.00 module at any autoparts store if for some reason it goes bad. But either style will be 100 percent better than the points.

Re: Special TC Engine
Thank you very much guys !
Engine is not in the car yet , so no videos for now , sorry.
OEM looking clamps are ... OEM clamps , they came with the 2l engine.
If you are talking about this picture -
the thing in the middle is a Malpassi pressure regulator
unless you are talking about something else ?

Almost a shame to hide that in a car, it belongs in a museum!

Re: Special TC Engine
How do you plan to lift the engine for installation? With the intake manifold installed you can't use a harness. I want to install manifold and carbs while the engine is out but I cant think of a way, maybe use head bolts.
