ignition relay set

Post by azruss »

Finished my 4 relay set for unloading the ignition switch. This design does not change any of the terminal functions of the key. this will mount under the front cowl. i will use dynamat to seal the cowl hole. I have bench tested the unit and all seems well. should just plug and play. will mess with install this weekend if the rains let up. No electrons or relays were harmed in making this system.

Man, what a great skill to have.
I just finished wiring in a relay for the after market fuel pump and will have a fire extinguisher handy when first trying it out.
Dad's an electrcal engineer but I now realize knowledge is not transfered by osmosis :?

Electrical requires patience, planning and an unrelenting attention to detail. I've very nervous about the 1st time it gets switched on know it could melt all the wiring in the car. everything tested ok in the bench test. Here is the detail of how the relays are integrated into the wiring harness.
