1975 carb 124 spyder
I've owned a few Fiats in my time...Currently a Dino spyder...but I just bought my girlfriend a 124 spyder...carb needs a rebuild, water choke...vacuum secondary...would love a carb with mechanical secondaries and a manual choke...any suggestions..and do you have a good one to sell me ????...I do have a bunch of NOS parts to swap if need be...Please let me know your thoughts...I am open for a set of twins with all the stuff to mount and all linkage...

No point in installing dual carbs unless you modify the rest of the engine. Your best option is a Weber 32/36DFEV, it is larger than your current carb, has a mechanical secondary and has an electric choke (works real well). We sell the real-deal Weber, while Allison's Automotive sells the less expensive Asian copy. Either would work.

Re: 1975 carb 124 spyder
Thanks...I built an engine a few years ago for my 72 coupe...It was Petty blue...with air conditioning that worked. Hi comp pistons, and twin webers, Konis, Abarth exhaust, headers...new interior and paint...went through a shitty divorce and it at my mechanics garage...he was a friend, and after a year or so he had sold it with out telling me...no lien no nothing...some friend...it is still out there somewhere...if this car sound familiar ...I miss it and it is still legally mine...let me know...I think it was sold in Va. or Delaware...I think the guy that bought it is named Mike Tucker.

I went with the32/36....not very linear...more like an on off switch...I think the angle of the cabel is wierd...I tried to bend the bracket so it would pull a little straighter...and noticed the metal on the bracket attached to the mani is cracked...does anyone have a spare one of tese I can modify to make it work better ??? bob

I usually upgrade to the 1978-80 throttle cable/linkage, it's a bit more complicated, but works very well.chefbob1 wrote:I went with the32/36....not very linear...more like an on off switch...I think the angle of the cabel is wierd..

Not really, just basic gasket kits, not the master kits that used to be available.narfire wrote: ... 34 dmsa.. they still make kits for re-build I believe.

Geo must have had some old stock about then. He re-built mine a year ago, said he did a bigger than normal overhaul, whatever that was..vandor wrote:Not really, just basic gasket kits, not the master kits that used to be available.
