It looks like the same pic. The carpets was OK, not great. But then it did not cost that much. It went in pretty easy, but had no directions. I contacted the place I bought it from and they could not help me. The picture threw me a bit, as a couple of the pieces are in the wrong position. They also could not tell what two extra pieces were for and I figured out they were for the door inserts. I have had them in for about 6 months and they seem to be holding up well. The biggest problem I had is that I trimmed the sill pieces too short toward the rear and had to add a small piece. It was not a big deal, as you can hardly see it.

Re: Carpet Sources......?
One of my Spiders has a carpet kit purchased from one of the big vendors. My other Spider has a set I made from carpeting from Lowes. Here's the comparison:
Big Vendor carpet kit: Thin, flimsy, fits poorly, falling apart at the seams after 4 months, looks cheap. Cost $199 plus shipping
Lowes outdoor cornrow style carpet: Thick, stays in place perfectly, fits perfectly, rock solid after 2 years, looks excellent. Cost $60. My former set was 9 years old and still looked new. The edge binding I had sewn on by a local carpet store was 100% intact and unworn. No fading, no tearing, never slid out of place.

Sounds like Lowes is the place for carpet. Will they order a color or do you have to take what they have? Also is there a specific mfr/style, They have about a hundred different colors/brands/styles on their web site

Re: Carpet Sources......?
Just looked at the ebay link above, that is definitely the cheezy carpet brand. The model Im looking at on the website for stockinteriors is the 80/20 loop (like OEM) replacement. IAP has it for $345, i think, its from this company. The pile is the cheaper version. I have ordered samples for both types (no cost). If nothing else I will have a sample to take to Lowes or the Depot for color/quality comparison.

It's the same picture. I guess I assumed the carpet was the same as well.

Re: Carpet Sources......?
Go into your local Lowes, Home Depot or carpeting store. There are several manufacturers who produce cornrow-style carpet (actually an outdoor grade carpet) in black, gray, tan, burgundy, blue and green. Some look better than others and the website does not accurately depict the differences.
