full moon hubcaps on a spider?

Post by roanokeSpider »

Im wondering if anyone has used these. Pics please

Id like to see what it looks like in actuality if any has pics of one please send them my way. Ive got steel wheels and old alloys that are missing the center caps and have some road rash so it might be cheaper and better looking to use those hubcaps either way im waiting for my rubber to burn so ive got some time to think about it.

OOhhhh that reminds me. When I first got my spider I also thought about full moons. Instead of brushed, I wanted mirror, but found some wire wheel covers at a bargain. I think they would look good on a spider with the right mods. Lowering the car will help with the look, also the stock steel wheels are 13 inch.

There was a member here a few years ago stationed in Okinawa, he had a cool photoshoped avatar of a spider mixed with an early corvette. It had the corvette grill, the 56-62 white side scoups, whitewalls, and I think moon wheel covers.

no but when i owned my 66 f truck with moons it was a thought of mine. but i do think you need to be running steel wheels and you can still buy true Moons threw Moon or so-cal speed shop

Could look nice, but more if the car had no windshield and a partial tonneau cover (i.e. heading for the salt flats for some speed runs). :D
