Am I crazy, or is that also a yellow Alpine in that photo?
If yes, then I've owned four of those cars; the Fiat (obviously ) the Datsun, the Alfa and the Alpine.
For me, the Alfa was the most fun to drive, but no so much more than the Fiat to be worth the premium you pay for it over the Fiat.
So hands-down the Fiat wins, for me.
I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!

That was in the very first issue of Classic Motorsports, I think I have it around here somewhere
The yellow Spider was built by Joe Lakatos, of Joe's Fiat Service in Redwood City, CA. He has been working on Fiats for 40+ years!

Re: Drop-Top '60s Roadsters
I've only owned Spiders (and other Fiats), and have only driven a few MGBs when I was considered buying one. I think I made the right choice.
Thanks.
Thanks.
