weber 32/36

Post by donm »

A few weeks ago I replaced my stock 28/32 carb and manifold with a 32/36 and single plan manifold and looking at the linkage setup this afternoon, I just noticed that because of the angle the pull rod has to operate at, the second barrel is only opening about 25% even when the pedal is floored! Is there some kind of linkage adaptor that I can use to get the second barral to open fully?

I just bent the rod until the secondary opens all the way.

I've been running weber 32/36 carbs on my Mazda pickups for 12 years, and almost know how to work on them. Would like to install one on my brand new to me 1978 spider. What would I need? which kit? and, what's a single plane manifold?

you need a spacer plate from millersmule.com
a one inch spacer and gaskets
they only need 1 fuel line and"no return"
