where did you find those headlights and were they hard to adapt to the spider? fit wise and electrically wise?

They are an exact fit and require NO modification to the bucket other than feeding the two wires for the LEDS thru the grommet. I supplied power and it all works as it should however at that time I had not completed the full LED conversion. I have been told that I will have to put a load resistor in or change out the flasher relay due to the reduced current draw of the LED's. There are several discussions on this topic and it is a minor modification.

I got these at "Chevy's of the 50 's" in Vancouver Washington, they now have a set that has the signaling LED's going all the way around the middle head light. One thing to note is that the "Glass" bulb is made of the same type of clear plastic they use in modern headlights and you use an H4 bulb.

Nice site they have some cool items. The lights I bought are the ones with two rows of amber LEDs, I figured they would be more visible, I think they are also selling these for 50 each. When I bought mine they did not have the ones with LEDs on both sides of the headlight, they look very sharp but are twice as expensive. There are a lot of innovations coming out concerning lighting which opens it up to your imagination.

I am really interested in these. When you say you have not completed the full LED conversion, what does that mean? I assume this is not exactly a "plug and play" connection? I see the additional turn signal flasher for LED's and am I to assume those will not work in our application? Any info would be appreciated.

I am converting every light to LED's. The turn signals will be in the headlight, I have Haggen flush mounted side markers and Lokar tail lights. The plan is that when I signal (example left) that the left LEDs in the headlight, left led side panel lights and left tail light will all blink together. I had to cut in new panels on all four corner panels for the flush mounted lights and I had to modify the rear panel for the new tail lights. Because of this I have never done a full run with the new lights all installed so I do not know if they will draw enough power to work without a load resistor or new flasher.

However the load resistor or new flasher are easy and cheap modifications. You can see from the pictures that they will work, I just twisted them into the existing wires for the picture. There are actually three wires to feed thru the grommet in the headlight cone, very easy fit, just use a little WD40 or liquid soap for lube

Hopefully one of these days I will get mine done, all four quarter panels atre cot in, working on the back. I have a buddy doing the work so obviously it's on his schedule. If you want pictures of inside the cone I can take some and add them.
