3rd Brake light

Post by grittracing »

After long over do. 3rd brake light. I know it took longer than I said. Had set them up for 1 style of light than had a problem with only half of the lights i ordered working. so had to find another light and supplier. I have not figured the wiring directions out yet been looking at the Brad Artigue Manuals trying to get a game plan for the weekend. shortly after I will be posting them for sale.Have not set a price yet. still working on it. what do you guys think they would be worth?
they are made out of plastic and can be painted. either bolted into place or 2 sided 3m taped

I like it, I'll probably order one when the pricing comes out.

going with my 1st thoughts after figuring costs $50 free shipping in the states.

I have made 10 if they don't sell I will not making any more. when I price my items the pricing may seem high but you need to take into that materials, lay up cost developing, time spent. I dont price my items to make a lot but I do need to make a little to keep my ghia project and spider going

Hi,

Is it too late to incorporate flat wire?

Thanks,
Mark

the wire is pretty thin. i think if you didnt want to lift the trunk seal and slip it under insted of drilling a hole might work. but I would suggest drilling. the only problem is for the trunk lid to clear the tail light, the light needs to sit back about 2 inches. so there will be a little wire showing.
