Hi-Comp pistons for stock bore?

Post by maytag »

Hey all....
Does anyone sell a hi-comp piston in a standard (84mm) bore? I can't find 'em listed on any sites anywhere. it seems they all start at 84.4mm.
I am already letting this thing get waaay out of hand. There is nothing wrong with the block now that a ridge-reamer or light stone won't cure. I was just going to throw-in a set of hi-comp pistons. If I take this thing to the machinist, then I'm opening up another flood-gate on the creeping project. I need to draw the line somewhere, and I'm afraid it's there.

So does anyone know where to get a set of hi-comp pistons in 84mm bore?
I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!
