steering wheel

Post by lm48 »

I took a chance and not order the steering wheel hub adapter with my new wood steering wheel from IAP. Keeping my fingers crossed I received the wheel today and just what? Will fit perfect the 1980 existing set up. The horn buttons need some help to stay in place but a saving of $50 was all worth it.

Why did you take a chance? I think if you had asked them they would have told you if it fit.
Most of these wheels have the Momo boltpattern, which is also used on the 1979-85 Spider hub adapter. There is another 6-bolt pattern, used by Nardi/Personal, but that is clocked differently, so it's obvious that it would not work.

The answer is simple. You input the year and model and the screen is recommending the adaptor then you need one.
