Well I found this forum before I bought my car on saturday. It has already helped me to make the decision to buy my 81 spider. Shes a weird pink red color (was painted 2 years ago). The interior is ok at best but the body is a solid 80%. I dont know much about foreign cars, as I am at heart a muscle car kind of guy. I am liking it so far and hope to learn more.

Nice car! I think later Spiders had a stock color that was just a bit darker than yours.
If the body is good then you have most of the battle won! Mechanical repairs are usually easier for most people.
