Well kinda! I have always hated those butt ugly late model bumpers so Yesterday I snatched 'em off! Auto Zone and Lowes had all I needed. 1x1/8 alu strip and 1x1/8 steel strip I had on hand. 2 amber LED clearance/marker lights that were 1x2, single wire. 2 pieces of Alu bent into L shape 5x5 and steel strip cut long enough to go from the 2 studs from the rubber bushings that go around the frt bumper shocks. Leg of alu L get sandwiched behind steel plate centered in opening, light gets bolted onto other leg in center of oval with ground wire ran to ground lug in engine bay,pwr wire gets soldered with male butt connector that fits female plug on harness. Totally adjustable in, out, up, down to put the light where you want it.
550 is the standard blinker relay and those won't work because there's not enough load now(thermal). Triton EL13 (Auto Zone )is electronic and HD,round so it fits the holder, makes a nice "click" and works perfectly. Plus it made in the US! (little pricey but worth it)
Taped off the lens and gave 'em a shot of satin black. NICE! Total cost=about $20 bucks.
I've read and read about this subject and all I can say is there's more than one way to skin a cat.

LOL! Let me read the FAQ's on how to post 'em. Promise to post 'em!
Re: EL13 and LED turn signals. Too easy!
Without photos it never happened. Just a folk tale.
Re: EL13 and LED turn signals. Too easy!
So... that's how it works. Just took a few months to figure out how to post pics!

Thinking of cutting more screen and mounting them on the backside of it so it matches the other "brake rotor vents". So there! Pthhhhh!

I am hopeful that you will post any modifications you make to your set up. Do you have any problems with mud or insect parts getting inside the "vents" when you take her out for a spin?

Clearance/marker lamps are not bright enough for turn signal applications. They are approximately one-tenth the required intensity. 25 is the maximum allowable candlepower for marker lights, and 250 is the minimum intensity for front amber turn signals.
Any misunderstanding between a Spider and a modern vehicle will have disastrous results for the Spider driver. If you're attempting to turn or overtake with those lamps on your car, be sure the sun isn't in you face. If it is, they other guy will never see your so-called signals.
