Fiat 124 Abarth Rally - fan page on FB
Hi people
I've been collecting 124 Abarth pics and info for quite a while and I've decided some time ago to create a FAN PAGE of the Abarth version on Facebook.
This is the page
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fiat-124- ... 5571367517
Like it and browse the pics. I'm sure you'll find interesting and educative stuff.
Also feel free to ad your own documentation, experiences, desires related to the 124 Abarth.

he he THX Keith
I still have some cards up my sleeve, however I must be careful not to run out of cool pics. I make/find some new now and then but there are only so many Abarths around. Soon I'm planning on visiting a friends that owns an ex works car and I hope I'll make some good shots.
I'm convinced some of you also have some cool 124 Abarth pics or projects so feel free to share them on the page.

I must say I expected more of you to like the page.
Are there original 124 Abarths in the states ? I know of two of them in Australia for example but I've only seen one quality replica in The States.

With some luck I could soon become owner of an original 124 Abarth group4.
Wish me luck and patience...I think I'll have to wait a month or two. Off course I'll share the pics here and on the FB page
The car will need some restoring so I'll need some advice.

Nice site and congrats on finding the real thing.
There are very few of these in the United States. One of the few sold a few years ago in Chicago. Personally I have never seen one in person despite being a Fiat owner for the last 30 years and an avid finder of interesting cars. For example I have seen and been in one of the few Lancia Stratos in the US, but never a 124 Abarth.
There is a thread here on this site about the one that sold in the Chicago area.
Keep up the good work and thanks for gathering up all those cool pics and images.

There should be also an original white Abarth in New York if I'm not mistaken. That's what I've read on line and from the pics I've seen it's also a real thing.
I'm glad you like the pics on the FB page. I'll keep 'em commin'
The group4 I was aiming to by will be someone elses but I'm on to another one....will know more near the and of January
Mr Torchia's car is wonderful. I wouldn't have painted the bonett shiny black however. It's intended to be opaque.
I think I will be in New York and Maryland in June so who knows with some luck I might see the 2 US Abarths

This is true about the Australian cars abcman.abcman3000 wrote:I must say I expected more of you to like the page.

Both of these 124A's in Australia I have actually seen in the flesh and are wonderful pieces of work, both owned by a couple of really nice guys too..
A white and black one which I have photos of next to my spider at a 2000 concourse, this was before the current owner purchased it and moved it interstate.
A green and yellow one which im a big fan of, I saw this car for the first time at the Fiat Nationals last year and I was following around the Motorknana and Race track. This I also have a couple pics of.
I'll check your facebook page out when I get a chance this weekend.
Re: Fiat 124 Abarth Rally - fan page on FB
from the latest info I gathered there should be as much as 4 original 124 Abarths in Australia
Aussie Fiat lovers know how to pick a nice car obviously

I found pics of the two 124Abarths in the States.
Maybe some more will fly over the pond once the Abarth brand becomes more popular with the 500.
I've recently heard of another 124 Abarth flying to Japan.
The page has a new design and I've added more pics
