Two Way Valve on 1981 Spider 2000

I have searched high and low and been very unsuccessful in finding the two way valve for the fuel emission control system. International Auto says to go with the larger valves, but they are one way each, how would I compensate for one ways? I have a mechanic assisting me in getting this car running and no one even knew what the part was. SHOCKING! I'm just impressed that I am learning the lingo as I go! Any help would be great! This is my grandma's car and I want to see her ride one more time!

hmmm, I think IAP is talking about a different valve than you are. Can you be more specific about an emission valve? The 79s have several different systems that make up the emission package. Are you asking about the valve in the fuel hose from the tank? Pics?
