Moving heater controls
Moving heater controls
Need some options for moving the heater controls to the dash area. Anyone got some ideas and pictures? Would like to mount them under the dash. I will be replacing my dash with Mark's. I will not have a console or lower dash so some type of mount would be in order.

not much room on the dash.however if you make the fasten seatbelts light /and others/smaller,like LEDs
you might make some room for it.

I was thinking push knobs like In a jeep cj. I have to take some measurements.

If you figure something out, Please post pic's. Didn't Ken, I think that's his name. The one who did the red 124 with the Miata roll bar and closed in the top of the back seats do push pull knobs?

Re: Moving heater controls
Early AS spiders had under-dash controls, but would be hard to find an OEM arrangement now.

Me thinks Brady was making a funny! Moving the controls to the dash and eliminating the console isn't oem for sure.you can get aftermarket push-pull controls easily...just google them...oh and please post pics....
Cheers!

Re: Moving heater controls
I checked that out Brady...very nice work indeed...and the controls fit with that dash style. however, I still think it needs a console of some sorts...it looked kind of weird without one.

Re: Moving heater controls
Ken is actually the inspiration behind this. I really like the dash except I will go with black. I like the clean look of no console. Might have to email him on those controls. I was thinking some angled aluminum to mount push-pull controls.
