Abarth 1400/1600 exhaust fitting an 1800 engine

Post by spidergirl »

Hi : i am not sure if this is the rigth forum for this but there is an Abarth exhaust system for sale but I am not sure if it will fit my 1800 engine. It is for both 1400/1600 engines. Can anybody tell me if this will fit an 1800 engine as well.

cheers Spidergirl

If it fits the 1600 then it -should- fit the 1800, but never having tried it, I can't say for sure.

Re-sellers list the same stock/replacement exhaust systems/parts for the 1600 and 49-state 1800 cars, so "it should fit". That's my assumption, anyway, along with "it should be 'fitable'". Hopefully, I'll have a real answer for you shortly.

I finally got it! (PM me for the gory details) But it looks to be some time again for the install...

I'm told it should fit all trans mount Spiders, with minimal effort.
