Its very nice looking and Ive thought about these before. Not being negative, but in the very off chance that your car rolled this thing would fold right up. Yet I would still use it. Chances are you will never flip anyways.

I won't own a convertible without one, I even bought one for my Dad's MGB. I just bought a third brAke lamp I'm going to mount to the bar. There are just way too many morons out there!

Dang Trey, I'm sorry to hear that.I'm glad everyone is OK. I just talked to Dan Yee night before last as they were having dinner (he said they were going to see you and Heather). I was lamenting not being there with them.

I think you missed my point. Look at the design, it seems pressure at the outer corner would put stress at the center intersection, which looks to be the weak link. The x or any other x rolling has nothing to do with the situation of this bar in a spider. it does look nice.

Hi all,
I was able to check out the auto power roll bar in the car today. There will be no difference in seat function between the auto power on and the double hump one. We are waiting for a price quote on the double hump one from a manufacturer. It shouldn't take too much longer.

I was thinking of making myself one something like this or adapt a miata Roll bar but if your having these made
i am sure ill be interested as well . I've seen some other Convertibles with roll bars like this and thought the
spider would look a lot better with a double hump bar look over a autopower type of bar .

No, I think this may be a dead issue. My buddy doesn't seem he's going anywhere with this. I'll update you if I hear something. I wouldn't hold your breathe though.
