originally mine was right front fender.

before I got the car, dad got a power antenna and moved it to the left rear about were yours is.

only if I put an orange flag on it like a kids bike so that other cars (read pick-ups) see me and don't run me over. :lol:

I have a '69 124 AS and the antenna is located on the front passenger fender, next to the cowl.

It seems the early cars had them installed on the front passenger side cowl area like many American cars of the era. Probably done by the jar head dealers. The later cars came with the antenna in the proper location; left rear.

BTW, Hirschman are top of the line antennas as previously stated.
