Silver wheel inserts

Postby RMaxfield » Sat Jul 15, 2017 3:56 pm

After months of hunting for inserts for my Cromodora cd134's I may have finally heard what actually happened. When Pininfarina took over production of the Spider 2000's FIAT I guess gave them a lot of the leftover parts. Pininfarina actually spray painted the FIAT inserts silver to cover up the FIAT logo. So silver wheel center caps never actually existed well at least until now! I had a company custom make them for me rather than use old FIAT stock and do the same thing that Pininfarina did. New wheel center caps come with a real thin piece of plastic with the FIAT logo on them and are not quite like the original. But here a picture of my inserts!!!

Ok that's weird??? Photobucket has now said they are making changes and that using 3rd party hosting has changed. They want $399.99 to host pictures like this. If that's the case I think I will live without photobucket.

Photobucket has ruined many of my posts, including my full restoration thread on Bella Ferrara 20 year project - a blog w 7 years of photo documentation. I'm livid.

Some braintrust over there decided to go to a "pay for service" scheme versus "advertising revenue scheme", and it is unlikely to work. They are apparently desperately trying to ruin their business. The elevator goes to the top floor, but the doors don't open at that company.

Oh no, that sucks! I hope you're able to get it back together.
