Temperature Gauge issue

Postby Observer » Thu Aug 10, 2017 5:19 pm

While running on the highway, my temperature gauge was reading normal. Suddenly I noticed it dropped below 120 and basically stopped working. Drove home with no over heating issues and the fan kicked in once I parked. Any suggestions?

Check that the spade connectors on the head near the spark plugs. They have cylindrical boots on them, if they check out, try physically tapping the gauge when the car is running. I have to "wake up" my temp gauge by tapping it sometimes lol. I know its not right, but it has been working  If that doesn't work think about removing the instrument cluster panel and inspect.
