Hi - I have a 1980 Fiat Spider 2000.

Any recommendations for good quality brakes and pads?

Thanks
Don

I have read good things about EBC Greenstuff pads, so that is what I ordered for my car. I am still doing my suspension refurb, so I cannot yet comment on how they feel driving.

I've had good luck with the Ferodo high-performance street pads. They're very dusty, but they wear extremely well and I've never faded them.

Just watch out for bargain No-Name Exotic Kevlar and such pads that come at prices too good to be true. Many will destroy your rotors in short time. Many of the long life pads will be so hard that you'll trade off stopping power in the bargain.

I will put the harder lifetime pads on cars folks complain about the brakes being too touchy which is not a problem most have with the stock brakes on the 124 Spider.
