Windscreen Accessory

Postby kmoses » Fri Jan 27, 2017 1:37 pm

The behind the seat windscreen was the best thing I have added to the spider (or so says my wife). The filler that covers the open space between the windscreen and the folded top makes it even better during cool days or mild winter driving. The panel blocks the wind from coming under the windscreen and between the seats. The windscreen can be folded down if needed. It can be removed or installed quickly with no tools and is easily flipped up to access items in the back seat. Also I think it gives the back a more finished look. I am having a local shop bend me one out of 1/8" aluminum to replace my wood and aluminum prototype.

I also found filling in the bottom flat panel made quite a difference.

VERY NICE.
Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, we have decided to turn off the light at the end of the tunnel. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I'm sure if there was enough of a demand for the product, someone would produce them. I nominate Mark Allison @ Allison's Automotive, can I get a second?

These are great adds. I haven't lost a single baseball cap since I installed ours a few years go. And like you, my wife really loves it!

Our vendors have them available and they bolt in in minutes. I got mine from AR.

I know the wind screen is available but I don't know of anyone producing the filler panel between the wind screen and convertible top.
